About the Speaker: Mike Jackson left Accrington for London in 1970 aged just 16 in search of a new career. He went on to become a founding member of the Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners (LGSM) group and is depicted in Pride by Joseph Gilgun (Harry Brown, Emmerdale, Misfits).
